PUM is an impact-driven, volunteer-based development organization that connects experienced experts with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and local organizations to provide management, technical and sector-specific assistance. It supports sustainable economic, social and ecological development across agriculture, food processing, healthcare, ICT, manufacturing and other sectors through capacity building, consultancy and hands-on projects in about 30 countries. PUM runs thousands of collaborations annually to strengthen local entrepreneurship, improve operations and promote inclusive growth.

📋 Description

• Acquire new clients: SMEs that align with PUM's mission. • Build and maintain networks with business clubs, entrepreneurs, and professionals. • Partner with entrepreneurs pursuing sustainable and inclusive business growth. • Coordinate collaboration between entrepreneurs and PUM experts for smooth project implementations. • Deliver a minimum of 10 successful projects per year. • Promote PUM's mission, build trust with entrepreneurs and local partners, and act as the first point of contact for clients. • Expand PUM's reach and create lasting impact in Binh Dinh and surrounding regions.

🎯 Requirements

• Well-connected across local SMEs, agricultural organisations, cooperatives, business associations, institutions, and local stakeholders in Binh Dinh and surrounding central regions such as Phu Yen, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Kon Tum. • Professional background in education, agriculture, agribusiness, rural development, or a related field. • At least 10 years of proven success in building and maintaining customer relationships, including strong acquisition and project management skills. • Deep knowledge of the socio-economic context, language, and culture of the region and Vietnam. • Sensitivity to local communication styles and relationship-building practices, with the ability to navigate different stakeholder groups. • Strong interview and listening skills to uncover clients’ true needs and translate them into opportunities. • Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, with excellent communication skills. • Availability for approximately 12-16 hours per week, spread across multiple days. • Confidence using digital tools, particularly Microsoft 365. • Live in Binh Dinh. • Reference checks and a declaration of good conduct are part of the selection process.
