📋 Description

• Lead a cross-functional team of Backend and Frontend engineers • Help team members grow • Build features that automate bookkeeping and display customers' VAT owed in real time • Simplify complex accounting and tax processes into clear customer experiences • Ship AI-first accounting experiences, including chat responses based on customers' accounting files • Shape the product roadmap with the Product Manager and Designer • Guide technical design with engineers while staying close to the code • Report to Yanis, Head of Engineering for the Accounting domain • Participate in interviews, an AI live skills test, and a final interview as part of the hiring process

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading engineers as a manager or Tech Lead • Experience building production systems in backend with Go or frontend with React • Recent coding experience or strong system design skills • Uses AI in engineering work and encourages AI-driven development • Fluent in French and English • Familiarity with the French accounting world, its services, and how accountants work with businesses is a bonus • Technical knowledge of Go, Ruby, ReactJS, Kotlin, Swift, Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and ELK • Experience with upfront technical design, team code reviews, smart slicing, Kaizen, and PDCA
