📋 Description

• Scale critical systems powering Qonto's 600,000+ customers in the Foundations domain • Map technical risks across core systems, including approximately 600,000 daily transactions, search indexing, and billing • Drive architectural work to prevent infrastructure bottlenecks • Own end-to-end, high-stakes technical programs spanning multiple teams • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and leadership • Identify future platform investments, including granular permissions and AI-native integrations • Translate strategic investments into technical roadmaps • Raise engineering standards through mentoring, coaching programs, documentation, and technical enablement • Connect company and customer needs to backend technical plans • Communicate technical plans clearly to engineers and executives • Identify priorities, propose roadmaps, and drive execution

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and scaling high-volume backend systems such as transactions, search/indexing, billing, or similar • Experience driving complex, multi-team, company-wide technical initiatives involving Legal, Risk, Compliance, and leadership • Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments, map ecosystems, surface risks early, and propose initiatives without waiting for direction • Experience raising engineering standards for groups of engineers through mentoring programs, documentation, or structured technical enablement • Use of AI tools to accelerate architecture, prototyping, and communication • Excitement about AI-native integrations • Ability to connect company and customer needs to concrete technical plans and communicate them clearly to engineers and executives
