📋 Description

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain services handling real financial transactions • Own reliability in production • Co-own service architecture, resilience, and scalability using Domain-Driven Design principles • Lead design discussions and anticipate risks • Mentor less experienced engineers • Drive continuous improvement by fixing flaky CI, running post-mortems, and sharing learnings across the team • Build financial infrastructure for European SMEs, including scalable APIs and robust real-time banking services • Work in squad teams of 5 to 10 people alongside Product, Design, Frontend, and Mobile teams

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with exposure to large-scale web application architecture and real production constraints • Ability to transfer quickly to similar technologies • Experience writing tests, setting up monitoring, handling incidents methodically, and performing root cause analysis • Ability to track impact after release, flag regressions, and improve owned scope • Comfortable working in squad teams with PMs, Designers, and other technology stacks • Fluent in English • Willing to live in or relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, or Spain
