📋 Description

• Review legal publications and notices, issue payment slips, file pleadings, and monitor judicial and administrative deadlines • Identify, record, assign, and track deadlines and actions assigned to attorneys, including follow-ups, reminders, and completion checks • Track relevant tasks and actions not necessarily associated with a court deadline • File and verify pleadings and carry out other procedural actions • Manage and update matters in internal systems, ensuring organized records and reliable information • Support the creation and maintenance of workflows, procedures, and templates • Prepare internal and external reports and conduct data analysis to support management • Provide operational support to the legal team • Handle operational communications with clients, notary offices, public agencies, and third parties to obtain documents or information and complete required actions • Perform other routines related to Legal Operations and Legal Controlling

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law; bar admission is not required • Courses in legal controlling or legal operations are a plus • Previous experience in legal controlling within a civil litigation law firm and/or legal department • Experience reviewing legal publications, managing deadlines, and handling legal notices • Knowledge of procedural routines and familiarity with electronic court systems • Experience with legal management software is a plus • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Applicants may reside anywhere in the country • Organized, proactive, detail-oriented professional with autonomy, a strong sense of responsibility, and an understanding of the importance of controlling procedural deadlines and required actions • Assertive in following up on and requesting updates regarding attorneys' assignments • High standard of technical quality in performing and reviewing activities
