📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership for the evolution of RD Station’s AI Agent Builder within the AI Alliance • Work hands-on with Python backend development and lead architecture discussions • Ensure product scalability, resilience, observability, and quality • Partner with Product, Design, and Frontend teams to translate needs into technical solutions • Continuously enhance the capabilities of the AI Agent Builder • Develop scalable, resilient, and observable backend solutions • Lead solution design and technical decisions aligned with engineering standards • Coordinate execution between backend and frontend, anticipating dependencies and removing blockers • Raise the team’s technical maturity through code reviews, feedback, and knowledge sharing • Own observability, performance, incidents, and technical debt • Ensure roadmap predictability by balancing speed, quality, and sustainability • Use AI tools, such as Cursor, with accountability for quality, security, and maintainability

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in Python backend development, building and evolving highly complex applications and services • Experience with software architecture, REST APIs, distributed systems, and service-to-service integrations • Strong command of SOLID principles, design patterns, automated testing, and code quality • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and asynchronous or event-driven processing • Experience with cloud environments, CI/CD, and observability • Experience serving as a technical reference, guiding engineers through code reviews and technical discussions • Ability to evaluate trade-offs among scalability, performance, security, delivery timelines, and business impact • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical leadership to backend and frontend teams • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools • Ownership, clear communication, pragmatism, and curiosity to learn • Nice to have: experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI agents; agent architectures; MCP; LLMOps; React; TypeScript; GCP; Docker; Kafka; Pub/Sub; PostgreSQL; MongoDB; Datadog
