📋 Description

• Lead the hands-on technical execution of RecargaPay’s SAP and Corporate Systems roadmap. • Own the technical governance and evolution of the SAP S/4HANA landscape. • Design, develop, and review ABAP solutions, including BAdIs, CDS views, AMDP, RAP services, OData services, forms, jobs, and interfaces. • Own the technical architecture of corporate systems beyond SAP, including HRIS, Legal Tech, GRC, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and workflow platforms. • Define the SAP and Corporate Systems operating model, support model, escalation paths, governance forums, change management, and lifecycle standards. • Define operational health indicators covering availability, job failures, interface errors, code quality, incidents, audits, SLAs, and business-impacting failures. • Define secure, auditable, API-first and event-driven integration patterns across SAP, SaaS platforms, internal services, and automation layers. • Lead adaptations for Brazilian and LATAM fiscal, legal, and regulatory changes. • Govern SAP and non-SAP change management, including STMS, ChaRM, Solution Manager 7.2 or SAP Cloud ALM, version control, code review, and deployments. • Oversee transport health, background-job strategy, interface monitoring, and upgrade readiness with Basis specialists and partners. • Define security baselines covering secure coding, authorization, user lifecycle, SoD, SSO, audit logs, API security, and secrets management. • Establish master-data governance for critical SAP and corporate objects. • Champion a clean-core / SAP-Minimalist strategy using released APIs and external automation where appropriate. • Run design sessions, code and architecture reviews, change advisory boards, post-mortems, patch planning, and technical-debt grooming. • Act as the internal technical authority and primary technical interface with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, specialists, and external partners. • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex production incidents as Tier 3 escalation. • Promote responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools. • Define team objectives, facilitate cross-team communication, recruit and develop team members, collaborate with Tech Leads, remove blockers, lead retrospectives, and support staffing and development decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience in software engineering and SAP development. • Strong software engineering foundation beyond SAP, including system design, API design (REST, events, webhooks), data modeling, integration architecture, Git, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability. • Solid hands-on ABAP development experience on productive SAP S/4HANA landscapes, including ABAP OO, BAdIs, enhancement spots, implicit enhancements, CDS views, AMDP, RAP, OData services for Fiori, ABAP Unit, ATC, and performance analysis. • Experience with S/4HANA release upgrades, custom code impact analysis, Simplification Items, Custom Code Migration, SPDD/SPAU adjustments, obsolete-object remediation, and regression support. • Strong understanding of SAP clean-core principles, extensibility patterns, API-first integration, and trade-offs among standard configuration, custom development, BTP extensions, middleware, and external automation. • Experience designing, building, or technically governing corporate systems beyond SAP, including HRIS, Legal Tech, GRC, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, or workflow/automation platforms. • Experience acting as technical authority for SAP implementation partners or managed service providers. • Working knowledge of SAP Basis and platform operations, including transport landscape, SUM-based upgrades, SAP Notes lifecycle, background jobs, system monitoring, and HANA operational fundamentals. • Strong experience with SAP transport and change governance using STMS and ChaRM / Solution Manager 7.2 or SAP Cloud ALM. • Functional understanding of SAP modules in scope, with FI and CO at minimum. • Hands-on experience with Brazilian SAP localization, including FI/CO, NF-e, DRC, SPED, ICMS, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and IRRF. • Experience coordinating technical adaptations for fiscal, legal, and regulatory changes. • Working knowledge of SAP and corporate-systems security, including secure coding, authorization, Code Vulnerability Analyzer, SSO, certificates, audit logs, API authentication, and secrets management. • Experience with SAP integration technologies including IDoc, RFC/BAPI, OData, REST via ABAP HTTP client, proxies, and SAP Integration Suite / CPI. • Programming experience in at least one general-purpose language beyond ABAP, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java. • Experience leading technical squads or workstreams in fast-paced environments. • Practical experience in regulated or high-volume environments such as fintech, banking, payments, retail, or e-commerce. • Experience supporting SAP integrations with tax engines or fiscal platforms. • Experience with governance, operating models, observability, reliability practices, and audit evidence. • Fluent Portuguese and advanced Spanish and English required given LATAM operations. • SAP, cloud, or software architecture certifications are desirable or a plus. • Experience with AI-assisted tools is desirable. • Ability to build structure in ambiguous environments and establish standards, governance, and documentation. • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong collaboration, mentoring, decision-making, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. • High degree of autonomy and accountability. • Comfort operating at strategic and hands-on levels.
