📋 Description
• Answer questions about best practices around automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups • Lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat technology • Understand customers’ infrastructures and business issues and make recommendations appropriate to their environments • Deliver discovery, analysis, and design workshops that shape customer use cases and architecture decisions • Design and scope delivery projects • Lead consulting teams through customer pilot and production deployments • Design, create, and deliver content enabling Red Hat organization-wide pre-sales, consulting, and support of solutions • Collaborate with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales • Develop repeatable methodologies and tools to scale services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk • Demonstrate thought leadership through white papers, webinars, and industry conference presentations
🎯 Requirements
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure and architecture design topics • Background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including command-line skills and Linux network configuration • Experience with containers, container management utilities, container debugging, and Quay • Package management skills using the CLI and Red Hat Satellite • Hands-on knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform • Architecture skills covering datacenter networking, compute, and storage infrastructure • Compute skills including Lights-Out-Management (IPMI, Redfish), UEFI/BIOS, and server hardware • Networking skills including Software Defined Networking (SDN), Layer 2 (ARP, MAC), Layer 3 (TCP, UDP), Layer 4 (IP), and Open Virtual Switch (OVS) • Storage skills including Software Defined Storage (Ceph), SAN, and NAS • Ansible experience with playbooks and troubleshooting • Authentication and authorization experience with Red Hat IDM and Active Directory • Experience with network/datacenter design, design and architecture documents, and scoping/discovery sessions
