📋 Description

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow • Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis • Monitor food cost, labor cost, and gross profit margin • Track operational costs and identify areas for improvement • Implement cost-saving measures and financial controls • Collaborate with kitchen and procurement teams to optimize food inventory and reduce waste • Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax filings • Ensure compliance with applicable sales tax, health regulations, and labor laws • Maintain accurate financial records according to accounting standards • Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity, banking relationships, loans, and credit facilities • Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage working capital requirements • Implement and maintain restaurant inventory management systems • Work with purchasing to align product pricing and vendor relationships with financial goals • Assist management in developing long-term financial strategies • Provide financial insights for menu pricing, expansions, and capital investments • Prepare financial models for new initiatives, renovations, or marketing campaigns • Collaborate with operations and kitchen teams to align financial and operational goals • Train restaurant staff on budgeting, invoice management, and cost control • Ensure timely payroll processing and accurate employee compensation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry • Strong knowledge of accounting software and POS systems • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, food costing, and inventory management • Familiarity with financial regulations and tax laws for the hospitality industry • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Preferred: experience with restaurant management software (e.g., Toast, Square, Upserve) • Preferred: prior experience managing multiple restaurant locations or a chain of restaurants
