📋 Description
• Travel to customer sites to perform the mechanical and electrical installation, setup, and commissioning of packaging equipment (e.g., filling machines and down-stream equipment). • Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) with customers to ensure machines meet specifications. • Optimize machine parameters to ensure production efficiency and product quality. • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on packaging lines. • Perform urgent repairs to minimize customer downtime. • Analyze root causes of machine failures and provide long-term solutions. • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance visits to inspect equipment, replace worn parts, and ensure optimal machine performance and longevity. • Provide comprehensive on-site training to customers’ operators and maintenance team on machine operation, safety protocols, and routine maintenance. • Offer remote technical support via phone, email, or video call to assist customers with immediate operational issues. • Complete detailed service reports, documenting issues found, action taken and log customer feedback after each service visit. • Assist in identifying opportunities for spare parts sales or equipment upgrades.
🎯 Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service or maintenance role, specifically within the packaging machinery, automation. • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (motors, gears, conveyors, pneumatics). • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. • Experience with PLCs (e.g., GE, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell) and HMI troubleshooting is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a customer-first attitude.
