📋 Description

• Work directly with a major banking client • Create real business impact through data • Perform the ingestion, integration, processing, and storage of large volumes of data • Extract data using Python and process it with PySpark • Work with ETL tools and SQL databases • Use AWS Big Data tools, including EMR, Kinesis, Redshift, S3, Glue, and Elasticsearch • Work with Kafka, Data Lakes, and DataOps

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on AWS experience • Experience with GitLab • Experience extracting data with Python and processing data with PySpark • Knowledge of ingesting, integrating, processing, and storing large volumes of data • Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) • Knowledge of ETL tools • Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling (data warehousing) • Experience with SQL databases • Knowledge of AWS Big Data tools such as EMR, Kinesis, Redshift, S3, Glue, and Elasticsearch • Knowledge of Kafka • Knowledge of Data Lakes and DataOps • CI/CD pipeline experience (desirable/considered a plus) • Terraform (desirable/considered a plus) • Kubernetes (desirable/considered a plus) • Collaborative team player • Proactive attitude and a sense of urgency • Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
