📋 Description

• Identify, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities identified through penetration tests (pentests), automated scans, audits, and customer reports, meeting deadlines according to risk severity • Implement backend security improvements involving authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and protection of sensitive data • Conduct code reviews, identifying security flaws and advising development teams on best practices • Integrate and maintain security tools in CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, dependency analysis, and exposed-secret detection • Monitor, update, and remediate dependencies and libraries with known vulnerabilities • Provide technical support for security incident response, participating in investigations, remediation, and post-incident analysis • Develop and document secure development standards, procedures, and guidelines for Engineering teams • Work with the Information Security Coordination team to advance security maturity and respond to customers’ technical questionnaires • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Information Security teams

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a mid-level Backend Developer, with proficiency in the languages, frameworks, and technologies used by Robbu • Knowledge of application and API vulnerabilities, including the OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10 • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and access control • Knowledge of applied cryptography, including TLS, password hashing, and encryption of data at rest • Experience with relational databases and SQL Injection prevention practices • Knowledge of Git and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines • Familiarity with application security analysis tools (SAST, DAST, and SCA) • Knowledge of LGPD principles as applied to software development, especially the protection and minimization of personal data usage • Sense of urgency and accountability when handling vulnerabilities and meeting deadlines • Attention to detail and critical thinking to identify potential risks and exploitation scenarios • Clear communication skills and the ability to translate technical risks for different audiences • Collaborative profile, with the ability to work with Engineering and Product teams without disrupting the development workflow • Consultative and instructional approach to promoting a secure development culture • Autonomy, organization, and the ability to prioritize the security backlog • Technical English for reading and interpreting documentation and security alerts • The position accepts a bachelor’s degree, technologist degree, or technical education, according to the structured requirements of the posting
