📋 Description
• Manage and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure (servers, storage, and networking equipment) • Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability • Perform regular updates, patches, and system maintenance • Design, implement, and manage network configurations (LAN, WAN, VPN) • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issues • Monitor and optimize network traffic and performance • Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls • Manage port configurations and secure internal/external communication • Implement and maintain security protocols and best practices • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control • Perform backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and processes • Collaborate with IT teams on ongoing projects and initiatives • Provide technical support to internal users and teams • Support planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) • Proven experience managing on-premises IT infrastructure • Strong experience with firewalls, network security, and port configurations • Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks • Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices • Ability to work independently and within a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks • Certifications such as: • - CCNA • - CompTIA Network+ • - CISSP
