📋 Description

• Build and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS, with some Azure, in enterprise and regulated environments • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • Build and operate CI/CD pipelines • Work with containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift • Help shape cloud architecture with regard to cost, security, and scalability • Automation, monitoring, and observability • Troubleshoot time-critical incidents • Collaborate closely with development teams, Security, and Product Owners within a DevOps culture • Develop productively using AI tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor • Work on cloud and platform topics for large corporations, the public sector, and enterprise and mid-market clients

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level experience; able to deliver from day one and work independently • In-depth AWS expertise, including architecture and operations • AWS certification preferred: Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (or CloudFormation) • Docker • Kubernetes or OpenShift • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions • Git • Agile ways of working • Linux, plus fundamentals of networking and security • Scripting: Python, Bash, or Go • German at C1 level or higher • AI tools are required: productive use of Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor • Ability to quickly get up to speed in new environments • Nice to have: IAM (One Identity, Keycloak), cloud security, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus), Apache Kafka, Azure or GCP, Go for platform tooling, event-driven architectures, GitOps (Argo CD), and AWS cost optimization
