📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Data Engineering solutions within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem • Work end to end across the data lifecycle, from ingestion and processing through transformation, modeling, and data delivery • Build and maintain reliable data pipelines • Develop transformations using BigQuery and Dataform or dbt • Automate processes with Python • Contribute to data quality, governance, and organization • Support the initial configuration and parameterization of the solution • Contribute to user and access management, operational documentation, and collaboration with business teams • Develop, enhance, and support pipelines using GCP services and tools • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes • Develop and maintain distributed processing jobs for large data volumes • Implement and manage orchestration workflows with Apache Airflow and Cloud Workflows • Develop and maintain versioned data transformations and models with testing and documentation • Create Python scripts and automation solutions • Develop complex queries and optimize data manipulation with SQL • Identify and resolve pipeline performance, quality, and availability issues • Participate in code reviews, version control, and CI/CD processes • Collaborate with the team in an agile environment using Kanban

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience as a Data Engineer on medium- or high-complexity projects • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Proficiency in Python for solution development and process automation • Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling and data warehousing • Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines • Knowledge of data transformation tools such as Dataform or dbt • Experience orchestrating pipelines with Apache Airflow and/or Cloud Workflows • Experience with distributed processing using Apache Spark, Dataproc, or equivalent technologies • Experience with Git, GitLab, code versioning, and CI/CD practices • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, monitoring, and error handling • Preferred: knowledge of Dataflow and Apache Beam • Preferred: experience with Lakehouse architecture • Preferred: Google Cloud certifications • Preferred: experience with financial, accounting, or operational reconciliation processes • Preferred: knowledge of Data Reliability and data quality monitoring strategies • Preferred: experience handling large data volumes • Preferred: experience with Kanbanize
