📋 Description

• Manage the full lifecycle of critical core production applications supporting the Transform, Protect, and Generate business groups • Develop expert-level understanding of end-to-end production business processes • Advise P&T Product and Production teams on challenges, opportunities, process improvements, automation, and best practices • Lead workshops and strategic discussions to map current-state and future-state processes • Partner with application engineering teams on implementation, configuration, and deployment of applications and major upgrades • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications • Design, configure, and test application workflows, integrations, and custom features • Serve as technical liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and external vendors • Provide Tier 3 support for complex incidents and performance issues • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent production fixes • Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and support knowledge bases • Guide software development teams on application business logic and functionality • Mentor junior Application Analysts and Application Specialists • Identify process automation, system optimization, and usability opportunities • Evaluate technologies and application versions and provide recommendations to P&T leadership • Build relationships with business leaders, power users, and P&T teams across Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Operations • Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Lead training sessions and create user documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an Application Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst position, or equivalent experience in an internal business process and application SME role at RWS • Experience working directly with business teams to analyze and improve processes • Experience implementing and supporting enterprise-level applications such as ERP, CRM, SCM, or similar core business platforms • Extensive experience providing expert-level production support in a high-availability environment • Ability to translate complex business requirements into product requirements, process flows, Jira stories, and acceptance criteria • Ability to analyze and interpret large and complex data sets • Understanding of Business Process Analysis and Business Process Management principles • Familiarity with system integration methodologies and design patterns • Understanding of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes • Familiarity with low-code automation platforms such as Appian is a major plus • Exceptional analytical, consultative, and problem-solving abilities • Strong business acumen, leadership, mentoring, communication, prioritization, ownership, and results-oriented abilities • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
