📋 Description

• Lead the month-end close process and prepare timely, accurate financial statements. • Review team deliverables for compliance with US GAAP. • Conduct client meetings to discuss financial performance, budgets, and KPIs. • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses. • Maintain cash flow reports, forecasts, and financial models. • Oversee A/R, A/P, billing, payroll, and inventory accounting functions. • Ensure timely invoicing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. • Provide financial insights to improve cash flow and operational efficiency. • Optimize accounting workflows using: QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite; Bill.com, Airbase, Expensify, or Concur; Gusto, ADP, or similar payroll platforms; Integrations with Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, and PayPal. • Identify automation opportunities and recommend process enhancements. • Apply strong knowledge of US GAAP and best accounting practices. • Support tax compliance, including sales tax, R&D credits, and 1099/W9 filings. • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). • A seasoned background in accounting, ideally from public accounting or client services. • Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas). • Strong communication and client relationship management skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. • Experience in outsourced accounting or consulting environments. • Knowledge of financial system integrations and automation tools. • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring or team supervision.
