📋 Description

• Own manual and exploratory quality coverage for card and payment backend systems • Test backend services supporting authorizations, captures, reversals, refunds, and chargebacks • Validate transaction data across REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and Kafka, including event contracts, stored data, and operational workflows • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product managers to investigate defects and improve test coverage • Test end-to-end transaction flows, including authorization, hold, capture, reversal, and refund scenarios • Verify reconciliation, corrections, and other back-office operational workflows • Execute regression testing during releases, infrastructure changes, and platform migrations • Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and test documentation • Analyze defects, document findings, and drive resolution with engineering and product teams • Collect and track QA metrics to improve testing effectiveness and product quality • Contribute to API-level automation of transaction flow testing

🎯 Requirements

• Experience testing backend systems and REST APIs • Confident use of Postman or similar API testing tools • Experience with PostgreSQL, including writing queries and validating stored data • Experience with Kafka, including event validation, topic analysis, and contract verification • Understanding of card processing and payment flows: authorization, hold, capture, reversal, and chargeback • Ability to read code in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or similar languages • Strong grasp of software testing principles, defect investigation, and test design techniques • Ability to work core hours from 12 PM to 6 PM (GMT+8) • English proficiency
