The community offers 15 home plans and emphasizes sustainable, off-grid-ready features (solar, geothermal, rainwater harvesting, greywater reuse), toxin-free materials, good indoor air quality, and low-EMF design. Sanctuary combines private homes with shared amenities and communal spaces aimed at promoting health, connection, and a nature-oriented lifestyle.

📋 Description

• Lead concept and design development for residential buildings and community spaces from concept through design development, including massing, floor plans, elevations, and material palettes • Translate nature-led and wellness principles into clear, practical, buildable solutions • Respond to the site, landscape, light, and climate of the Texas Hill Country • Help shape the 135-acre master plan and future sites • Build design guidelines, material libraries, and reference standards • Review the wider team’s work and provide clear, constructive feedback • Create sketches, renderings, and presentations for leadership, partners, and buyers • Explain design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences • Partner with architecture leads, the BIM team, and U.S. consultants to carry design intent into construction

🎯 Requirements

• 6–10 years of architectural design experience, focused on residential or hospitality • Portfolio of built or well-developed work demonstrating real design sensibility • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture • Track record of taking projects from concept through design development independently • Confidence presenting and defending design decisions to architects, consultants, and leadership • Ability to work with high autonomy on a remote, cross-cultural team • Revit required • Portfolio required • Sustainable, biophilic, or wellness-focused design experience preferred • U.S. real estate projects or experience at an international firm preferred
