📋 Description

• Build and own production data pipelines and data models on GCP • Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve large datasets • Design well-documented, tested, version-controlled dbt data models • Design and operate the data warehouse/lakehouse and relational databases • Build metadata, catalogues, and embeddings for AI agents • Implement orchestration, monitoring, data quality checks, and lineage • Deliver reliable data to analytics, BI, and AI workflows • Contribute to orchestration, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code for the data platform • Work closely with data scientists and software engineers • Own pipelines end to end • Share knowledge with the team

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years building and running production data pipelines and data models • Strong SQL and data modelling; dbt or similar is a plus • Strong Python and good software engineering habits, including version control, testing, code review, and CI/CD • Experience with pipeline orchestration such as Airflow or Dagster • Production experience on GCP, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and IAM, or equivalent AWS services • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, including Terraform • Exposure to LLM or agentic systems, including RAG, embeddings, and tool-using agents • Clear communication and ability to write useful design documentation for product managers and engineers • Distributed data processing at scale, such as Apache Spark, is nice to have • Containers, such as Docker, are nice to have • Experience with vector databases or graph databases is nice to have • Event-driven or streaming data and real-time pipelines are nice to have
