📋 Description

• Define and validate technical decisions for Snowflake • Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the Data platform • Implement mechanisms to detect anomalies and continuously optimize data flows • Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers/Developers • Validate developed pipelines and ensure their productionization • Communicate and enforce the team’s guidelines and standards • Gather business requirements and translate them into pragmatic, effective Data solutions • Design and deliver relevant dashboards for activity monitoring and management • Propose data architectures tailored to specific use cases • Facilitate collaboration between technical and functional teams • Identify optimization opportunities • Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and methodologies into the Data ecosystem • Make strategic recommendations on the use of Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and Data/AI solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Higher education degree in computer science, data engineering, or equivalent • Proven experience (10+ years) in Data Engineering, including experience with Snowflake • Significant experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Data Engineer, or Data Product Owner in a complex environment • Experience in the automotive industry or within large international organizations is preferred • Experience gathering and formalizing business requirements • Excellent command of Snowflake (data modeling, advanced SQL, query optimization, warehouse management) • Strong data engineering experience: designing ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow, dbt, Talend, Informatica, etc.) • Good understanding of cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, etc.) • Knowledge of data modeling approaches (Data Vault, Kimball, Star Schema) • Proficiency with CI/CD tools and DevOps environments applied to data • Experience with data security, governance, and quality challenges • Knowledge of AI/ML and experience collaborating with Data Science teams • Ability to analyze and understand business needs (finance, supply chain, marketing, etc.) • Ability to design simple, value-driven solutions • Ability to detect anomalies and propose prompt corrective actions • Experience implementing dashboards and key performance indicators • Experience collaborating with Data Science and AI teams • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics to non-specialists • Natural leadership skills and the ability to support and develop team members • High level of autonomy and strong organizational skills • Results-oriented, with the ability to prioritize effectively • Fluent English, both written and spoken
