📋 Description

• Design the architecture of Scento’s commerce platform, with a Next.js storefront and Medusa backend running on PostgreSQL • Build and harden a custom Stripe checkout supporting multiple currencies and languages • Lead performance (Core Web Vitals), reliability, observability, and security initiatives • Define engineering standards and conduct code reviews • Mentor and support other engineers in their day-to-day work • Work directly with Product, Growth, and Operations on high-impact features • Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and sustainability, and communicate decisions clearly

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience building and operating production web systems, including several years at Staff or Principal level • Expert knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Next.js • Strong knowledge of Node.js and PostgreSQL • Experience with payments, headless commerce, or high-traffic e-commerce • Fluent in English
