SCS works with corporate clients, manufacturers, suppliers, and projects to assess compliance with standards, verify greenhouse gas and offset projects, and deliver training and advisory support for regulatory programs such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and carbon border adjustment mechanisms.

📋 Description

• Conduct audits on farms and/or supply chain entities according to the Rainforest Alliance audit scheme and SCS protocol • Schedule and confirm audit dates with clients • Prepare and send client audit plans according to protocols • Book travel, hotel, and transportation according to company policy • Submit expense reports • Adhere to quality and code of conduct standards • Conduct audits using applicable checklists, forms, and tools • Maintain positive client relationships and respond to client inquiries and concerns • Submit complete and accurate audit reports within established timelines • Maintain thorough client records • Attend training to maintain audit qualifications and maintain training records • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations and standards • Prepare clients for the audit process by sending required audit plans

🎯 Requirements

• Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard Farm and/or Supply Chain E-course certificate • Audit Log with minimum 10 environmental and social audits as a lead auditor within the most recent 4 years (e.g. RA, UTZ, Fair Trade, RSPO, GRASP, etc.) • Familiarity with the third-party certification process • Strong communication and customer service skills • Well-developed organizational and time management skills • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database systems • University degree in agronomy, food systems, or agroforestry • 40-hour quality management system training ISO 14001, 9001, 22000 (e.g. Exemplar Global, IRCA, etc.) • Lead Auditor course from a third party such as ISO 19011 • 40-hour social audit training (SA8000, SMETA, etc.) • Willing to travel up to 75%, mostly overnight travel throughout Cameroon
