📋 Description

• Schedule and confirm audit dates with clients • Prepare and send client audit plans according to protocols • Book travel, hotel, and transportation according to company policy • Submit expense reports • Conduct on-site and remote audits of slaughterhouses, packing houses, and related beef supply-chain entities throughout Central and South America, primarily Brazil • Evaluate facility operations • Review food safety and quality management systems • Assess traceability and record-keeping requirements • Conduct audits using applicable checklists, forms, and tools • Maintain positive client relationships and respond to client inquiries and concerns • Submit complete and accurate audit reports within established timelines • Maintain thorough client records • Attend trainings and maintain qualification and training records • Maintain current knowledge of beef supply-chain regulations and food safety and quality management standards • Prepare clients for audits by sending required paperwork

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency in Portuguese and English required • Spanish proficiency strongly preferred • Willingness and ability to work in livestock and slaughterhouse environments • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Central and South America, with a primary focus on Brazil • Experience conducting audits, inspections, assessments, or certification activities within the meat, livestock, food processing, or agricultural sectors • Familiarity with third-party verification, certification, or compliance assessment processes • Strong communication, interviewing, and client relationship management skills • Well-developed organizational, time management, and report-writing skills • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and database or audit management systems • Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and timely audit reports in English • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain required travel documentation • Ability to travel within and potentially outside of Brazil • Ability to speak and listen in person and on the phone • Ability to physically travel to audit sites via plane and car • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time • Ability to work in beef slaughterhouses, processing facilities, packing plants, farms, livestock operations, distribution, storage, cold-chain, and active food processing environments • Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed footwear, hairnets, and protective clothing
