📋 Description

• Independently or as part of a team, conduct robust and detailed verification of customers for compliance with relevant ISO standards • Perform verification at companies seeking IMS certification • Generate high-quality verification reports with accurate, detailed, and consistent descriptions of evidence and findings • Apply program and verification requirements pragmatically across varied verification circumstances while maintaining program integrity • Clearly, effectively, and concisely communicate ISO standard requirements to clients • Communicate regularly with clients to ensure Corrective Action Requests are closed within appropriate deadlines • Promptly communicate with SCS staff regarding verification scheduling and draft report revisions

🎯 Requirements

• Contractor must be physically located in Africa • Ability to travel • Certification as an ISO external auditor (e.g., IRCA or equivalent) • Relevant experience in auditing management systems, with at least 2 full certification cycles • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards and their requirements • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to analyze data and evaluate processes objectively • Familiarity with industry-specific processes and regulations, depending on the sector • Working proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communications • Working proficiency in French and/or English • Other languages are a plus
