📋 Description

• Serve as the first engineer dedicated to the go-to-market team • Build and own backend systems used daily by BDRs and AEs • Design and build data pipelines pulling account and contact data from multiple sources and APIs • Clean, deduplicate, score and sync data to the CRM as the single source of truth • Design the GTM data model and central database connecting CRM, outreach and product data • Integrate internal and third-party tools via REST APIs and webhooks • Build internal services and tools where off-the-shelf tools are insufficient • Build signal detection, lead scoring, routing and alerts for sales representatives • Build AI-powered tools and agents for research, proposals and CRM updates • Deploy, schedule, monitor and maintain systems, including error handling, retries, rate limits, logging and alerts • Investigate problems, identify root causes, ship fixes and document solutions • Collaborate closely with Sales and exchange with Engineering on architecture and best practices • Report to the Head of GTM • Improve sales productivity and pipeline through reliable, adopted systems

🎯 Requirements

• Recent graduate (0–2 years) in Computer Science or a related engineering field with a strong academic record • 1+ years of backend experience through a first full-time job or internships in a startup environment • Strong Python or another backend language, SQL and data modeling • Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with webhooks • Experience with Git, deployment, scheduling, testing, logging and debugging in production • Systems thinking and understanding of component dependencies • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and LLM APIs, such as Claude Code or the Claude API • Experience building and shipping a real feature, service, data pipeline or internal tool • Independent, proactive and comfortable communicating remotely, especially in writing • Fluent English, spoken and written • Must be currently based in India • German is not required • Nice to have: AWS or GCP, a data warehouse, a CRM and its API, or GTM tools such as Clay
