• Independently manage and settle property and liability claims with a focus on building damage (above- and below-ground construction). • Conduct on-site inspections and damage assessments. • Independently prepare expert reports, assessments and statements. • Evaluate causes of damage, extent of loss and remediation costs. • Coordinate and liaise with all relevant parties (insurers, policyholders, service providers, experts, etc.). • Ensure quality- and customer-oriented claims handling.
• Degree in engineering (e.g., civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering) or completion of a state-certified technician program or an equivalent qualification. • Several years of professional experience in one of the above fields. • Solid knowledge in building damage assessment. • Good knowledge of building (structural/above-ground) and civil/infrastructure (below-ground) construction is an advantage. • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills. • Independent and structured working style. • Strong communication skills and customer orientation. • Valid driver’s license (Class B).
