📋 Description
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain software solutions for financial processes • Participate in the software development lifecycle • Develop new software features as an integrated team member • Leverage accounting knowledge to identify gaps and improve automation and reconciliation workflows • Design, develop, and install software solutions • Write code and document functionality • Build high-quality, innovative, fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design • Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics • Provide support and consulting on software systems usage • Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards
🎯 Requirements
• Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst • Solid understanding of financial operations such as reconciliation, reporting, and compliance • Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Go • Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL • Experience with backend API development • Experience with relational database storage and retrieval • Familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required • Comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • High standards for code quality and defect prevention • Ability to challenge decisions respectfully and commit to decisions once made
