📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting and Finance, to enhance and maintain software solutions for financial processes • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment • Build new features and products as part of an integrated engineering team • Use accounting expertise to identify gaps and improve automation and reconciliation workflows • Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics • Provide support and consulting on software systems usage • Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards • Design software applications and features in Golang • Build reports and automations using Python and SQL • Build and scale distributed architecture while maintaining consistency • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products • Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous product improvement • Deliver high-quality, testable features meeting reporting and compliance standards • Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their experience and knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on the path forward • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, Java, Python, or a similar language • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfortable leveraging AI for productivity, research, and communication • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst preferred • Solid understanding of reconciliation, reporting, and compliance preferred • Banking or financial institution experience is a plus • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python, Java, and Go, and database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL • Familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes • Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, NewRelic, or Datadog • Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS • Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications • Ability to meet reporting, compliance, coding standards, technical design, and regulatory best practices • Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Proficiency with Git and GitLab CI/CD
