📋 Description

• Scale Share's infrastructure as its bandwidth marketplace grows • Operate and evolve modern cloud-native infrastructure • Manage Kubernetes, cloud architecture, containers, and virtualization • Maintain the APIs and DevOps practices supporting marketplace operations • Identify and resolve problems before they escalate into incidents • Work closely with the systems engineer, network team, and software teams • Own systems problems from scoping through production • Apply operational learnings to improve the engineering department

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional systems/infrastructure engineering experience, with real ownership of infrastructure at scale • Leadership mindset and responsibility for outcomes • Deep Kubernetes expertise, including deploying, scaling, and debugging production clusters • Strong cloud infrastructure experience; GCP preferred • Experience with networking, IAM, cost and capacity planning, and multi-region architecture • Production Docker and container orchestration experience • Virtualization technology experience, such as VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V • Experience across the VM layer through containers and orchestration • Deep production API design and management experience • AI-native workflow experience, including building with AI tools • Ability to scope, build, own, and improve systems through production
