📋 Description

• Build backend systems and APIs, preferably in Python, running real-time, business-critical accounting logic • Ship features end to end, including architecture, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and beyond • Integrate third-party tools and external systems while proactively managing edge cases and risk • Deploy daily and iterate quickly in a pragmatic, fast-moving engineering environment

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in backend engineering • Language-agnostic backend engineering experience • Deep experience with complex business logic products • Strong database skills, including PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, migrations, and schema design • Experience deploying on AWS or similar cloud platforms • Solid CI/CD and production-readiness fundamentals • Python and a modern web framework such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django are a bonus • Hardcore work ethic and high agency • Pragmatic, curious, hard-working, and fast-moving approach
