📋 Description

• Optimize the onboarding funnel, including registration, identity verification (KYC, KYB), and fraud prevention flows • Build and evolve foundational identity, profile, status, and user preference services across the Cashea ecosystem • Design fault-tolerant integrations with biometrics engines, fraud prevention tools, and KYC providers • Define and asynchronously propagate user lifecycle events such as registration, tier changes, and profile updates • Establish clean code practices, rigorous testing, advanced observability, and safe rollback strategies • Collaborate with tech leads, product managers, and engineering directors to create an architecture roadmap • Mentor and empower senior engineers • Set technical direction, make architectural decisions, and ensure systems operate under extreme concurrent load

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record as a Staff or Principal Engineer designing and operating complex distributed systems at scale, ideally in identity platforms, user core services, or high-traffic onboarding funnels • Advanced proficiency in Node.js and NestJS (TypeScript), or ability to technically lead in this stack with equivalent high-performance technologies such as Rust and/or Go • Deep knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture, DDD, CQRS, REST/gRPC API design, PostgreSQL optimization, and Redis caching • Solid experience with message queues and event streaming, including RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Pub/Sub • Experience integrating and abstracting KYC, biometrics, and data-enrichment services with fallback patterns, circuit breakers, and intelligent retries • Hands-on builder mentality with ability to conceptualize long-term solutions, deliver fast value, and write high-quality reference code • Spanish and English proficiency • Physically located in LATAM
