📋 Description

• Provide home help services to aged care clients • Perform general housekeeping and make beds • Clean, mop and vacuum floors • Wash, fold and iron laundry • Prepare meals and complete grocery shopping • Get clients out of bed, showered and dressed • Assist clients to take medications • Assist with mobility and therapy goals • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Provide social and emotional support • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments • Help family carers take a break or attend to other activities • Work independently and seek manager assistance when needed

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 months’ experience in a similar professional role • Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications • Valid Australian Driver's Licence • Own insured, roadworthy vehicle • Must complete a Statutory Declaration prior to commencement • Must complete a National Police check prior to commencement • Must complete a Working Rights check prior to commencement • Must complete a pre-employment functional assessment prior to commencement
