📋 Description

• Join the structures inspection team under the direction of a group manager • Organize and schedule site visits with the team and clients • Prepare schedules, equipment, and PPE • Check the availability and compliance of measuring equipment • Perform detailed inspections and IQOA inspections of bridges, civil structures, and other infrastructure • Conduct visual surveys, non-destructive testing, and, when necessary, destructive testing • Identify defects such as cracking, corrosion, and deterioration of concrete or steel • Analyze collected data to assess the condition of structures and detect anomalies • Prepare detailed reports and make maintenance or repair recommendations • Collect essential field data, verify its accuracy, and contribute to the overall analysis of structures • Collaborate with engineers, specialist technicians, project managers, and other technicians

🎯 Requirements

• Two- or three-year post-secondary degree in civil engineering, public works, or an equivalent qualification (BTS, DUT, or professional bachelor's degree) • Initial experience in inspection, including internships and work-study placements • Basic knowledge of structural mechanics and defects affecting concrete, steel, masonry, and timber • Proficiency in using measuring equipment • Ability to work at height • Comfortable writing reports • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, reporting software, and drafting software such as AutoCAD • Thoroughness and strong attention to detail • Analytical mindset • Organization and ability to work independently • Team spirit • Strong oral and written communication skills • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally
