• Conduct comprehensive sleep histories and physical examinations (via telehealth or in-person) to evaluate sleep-related complaints. • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSAT) and in-lab Polysomnography (PSG). • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including CPAP/BiPAP therapy, pharmacological interventions, and lifestyle counseling. • Guide patients on sleep hygiene, the mechanics of sleep disorders, and the long-term health benefits of compliance with therapy. • Monitor patient progress, manage equipment titration/adjustments, and provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) referrals or basic coaching. • Work closely with our Sleep Technicians, Medical Director, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing program. • Current, active unrestricted multi-state NP license preferred. • Board certification (ANCC or AANP). • Certification in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (CBSM) or experience in Sleep Medicine is a major plus. • DEA registration and state-specific prescriptive authority. • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred. • Experience with telehealth or remote patient care preferred. • Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth platforms. • Familiarity with CPAP compliance software (e.g., Canvas, AirView, Care Orchestrator) is highly desirable. • Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to explain complex physiological concepts in "human" terms.
