📋 Description

• Contribute to client engagements through research, analysis, data collection, and drafting • Conduct stakeholder interviews, field visits, surveys, and focus groups • Synthesise literature reviews, market assessments, policy analysis, and competitor landscape reviews • Build and maintain financial models, data trackers, and analytical frameworks • Draft client reports, slide decks, and working papers • Participate in client meetings and workshops, including presenting analysis and facilitating sessions • Conduct impact investment landscape analysis and blended finance modelling • Research investees or technical assistance recipients for due diligence • Develop impact indicators and collect data for investor reporting • Conduct market sizing and pipeline development analysis • Map value chains and diagnose bottlenecks, margin distribution, and inclusion gaps • Conduct smallholder farmer interviews and household-level data collection and analysis • Analyse market systems, actors, incentives, and constraints • Develop business cases for inclusive sourcing or supply chain investment • Review competitive landscapes for agribusiness clients • Design supplier development programmes • Analyse policy and regulatory environments for government advisory engagements • Produce internal case studies, evidence summaries, and sector briefs • Support cross-portfolio data collection and analysis • Contribute sector evidence packs, market data, and proof points to business development materials • Support proposal development with research, data, and analysis • Develop a meaningful specialism in either impact-driven finance or inclusive commercial value chains

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in research, analytical, or advisory role in consulting, development finance, agribusiness, international development, or a related field • Demonstrated experience producing high-quality analytical outputs used in client-facing or decision-making contexts • Experience conducting primary research, including interviews, surveys, or field data collection, in emerging market or development contexts • Some exposure to impact investing, blended finance, value chain development, agribusiness, or market systems • Experience working across multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills • Comfortable building financial models and analysing large datasets • Ability to synthesise interview findings and qualitative evidence • Clear, concise written English to publication standard • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint at a working level • Experience with R, Python, Stata, or equivalent is an advantage • Intellectual curiosity about relevant sectors • English required • French or Portuguese is a strong advantage • Ability to work within the time zones spanning Ghana to Singapore • Reasonable reach of a well-connected international airport • Willingness and ability to undertake international travel • CV and motivation letter required • Two referees and permission for reference checks • Compliance with safeguarding, child protection, ethical standards, and CARE principles
