📋 Description

• Build features end-to-end, including backend APIs, database changes, frontend UI, and production deployment • Design and implement backend services for a multi-tenant SaaS platform • Design schemas, optimize queries, and model data in relational databases • Build clean, fast frontend features • Optimize performance across the stack • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests • Build LLM-powered agentic workflows to help users find, understand, and fix data issues • Improve agentic development systems, including agent instructions, skills, and test feedback loops • Work directly with product, design, and customers to decide what to build • Own features end-to-end and shape product design with the product manager

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building software at a product company • Strong Java, including REST APIs, database interactions, and asynchronous processing • TypeScript and a modern frontend framework; Angular preferred • Frontend fundamentals: complex UIs, component architecture, state management, performance, and responsive design • Solid SQL in a backend context, including schema design, query optimization, and production migrations • Experience with MySQL and ClickHouse • Testing experience, including end-to-end testing with Cypress or Playwright • Architectural judgment and consumer-oriented API design • Understanding of data flow and latency across the stack • DevOps fluency with containers, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and Linux • Production experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar • Ability to direct AI coding agents while maintaining a high quality bar • Independence in a distributed, asynchronous team across 12+ countries • Fluent English • Preferred: multi-tenant SaaS at scale and high-growth startup experience • Preferred: eye for design • Preferred: Python • Preferred: experience building agentic workflows into products • Preferred: experience in data quality, data management, data observability, or ML monitoring
