📋 Description

• Own the testing strategy for assigned features and product areas • Decide appropriate validation layers, including unit, component, integration, API, golden, E2E, accessibility, performance, security, manual, and exploratory testing • Participate in discovery and specification reviews before development begins • Clarify assumptions, surface edge cases, identify risks and dependencies, and ask failure-mode questions • Design test cases as part of feature development • Cover user journeys, happy paths, edge cases, error handling, recovery, and regression • Enable engineers to own their part of quality through test suites, regression packs, environments, and mock data • Execute prepared test cases and conduct mandatory exploratory testing • Maintain a living view of test coverage for each feature • Support release decisions using measurable confidence • Continuously improve automation strategy and QA processes • Reduce flakiness, close coverage gaps, and reduce repetitive manual regression • Expand exploratory, accessibility, security, and performance testing • Use AI/LLM tools for test case design, automation scripting, and exploratory testing • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Data • Take responsibility for testing strategy end to end

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field • Senior level experience in QA • Experience owning quality for real features or products and making independent testing-strategy decisions • Genuine ownership and proactivity mindset • User- and product-first way of thinking • Security mindset and comfort with shift-left quality practices • Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Patrol, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright • Experience writing backend tests, including API, unit, and database tests • Experience testing RESTful services with Postman or similar tools • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions • Strong automation skills, or proactive attitude and solid technical base with willingness to learn automation quickly • Experience in web3, fintech, or products handling real money is nice to have • Experience across API, integration, golden/screenshot, performance, and accessibility testing is nice to have • Experience with security testing is nice to have
