📋 Description

• Create compelling short- and longform copy across email, web, social, and campaign channels • Interpret creative briefs and develop copy • Create on-brand content across marketing assets • Own content from concept through final edit • Maintain brand voice consistency and audience engagement • Develop big ideas and messaging concepts • Partner on campaign direction from strategy through execution • Develop audience-resonant copy across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C audiences • Optimize messaging for email, paid social, landing pages, search, and AI-driven surfaces • Use engagement, conversion, search, and AI-visibility insights to inform content strategy • Monitor workforce and higher education trends and competitive activity • Experiment with agentic workflows, custom GPTs, and AI content tools • Fact-check and contextualize AI-generated content • Produce accurate, substantiated claims about credits, credentials, and outcomes • Set editorial standards and mentor and review other writers • Steward brand voice across the organization • Apply accessibility and inclusive-language best practices • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, project management, SEO/growth, and data teams • Manage multiple projects and deliver best-in-class work on deadline

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field • 5+ years’ experience as a writer in a corporate or marketing communications structure • Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating range across B2C and B2B audiences and short- and longform formats • Multi-brand copywriting for B2C, B2B, and higher-education audiences • Editing, proofreading, and brand-voice alignment skills • Storytelling and concepting ability • Ability to tailor messaging by audience and platform across email, social, web, search, and AI-driven surfaces • Comfort interpreting engagement, conversion, and AI-visibility data • Working knowledge of SEO, AEO, and GEO • Interest in LLMs, AI copilots, and agentic tools • Editorial judgment and research skills, including E-E-A-T standards • Ability to mentor writers and influence cross-functional stakeholders • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Ability to access information using a computer • Must be able to travel occasionally if a business need arises • Experience with AI-driven marketing, GEO/SEO, content strategy, content management systems, project-management tools, AI tools, and SEO/content tools is a plus • Academic institution and/or EdTech experience is a plus
