📋 Description

• Develop clean, efficient code using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, PostgreSQL, and OpenShift • Design and implement robust microservices architecture • Support the introduction and optimisation of CI/CD processes • Analyse complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications • Implement and maintain unit tests • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Refactor and optimise the existing codebase • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices • Mentor junior developers • Contribute to technical documentation, API specifications, and system architecture diagrams • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives • Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployment and operation of software solutions • Engage with customers on requirements and provide technical expertise • Identify and mitigate risks in software development projects

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience with Java (Spring Boot, Spring) or microservice architecture • Familiarity with unit testing, clean code, design patterns, and SOLID principles • Participation in at least 1–2 commercial software projects • Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or currently pursuing it • Fluent in English; German is a plus • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum teams • Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably OpenShift or Kubernetes • Experience with database design and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies • Excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
