📋 Description

• Advise senior officials • Assist USMILGP-Iraq in managing and executing ministerial-level advisory activities • Develop ministerial engagement strategies • Facilitate decision-making and information-sharing processes • Build and maintain professional relationships • Establish trusted relationships with ministry leadership • Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of policies and procedures • Support civil-military integration • Provide advice, reports, briefings, and recommendations • Plan and manage operational and administrative planning • Track and monitor organizational priorities • Develop key leader engagements • Enhance advisor effectiveness • Coordinate with senior Iraqi and coalition leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Active in Scope Secret clearance • U.S. Citizenship • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline • Fluent in Arabic and full professional fluency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) • Fluent in Kurdish and full professional fluency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) • Thorough understanding of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense organizational structure and operations • Previous strategic-level experience with U.S. forces in Iraq since 2011 • Significant knowledge and experience in civil-military relations, democratic governance and defense institution building • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
