📋 Description

• Build backend components such as APIs, serverless functions, queue systems, and data storage services with guidance from senior engineers • Participate in design discussions and contribute questions and ideas • Apply security and data-protection best practices • Write clean, well-tested code and clear documentation • Participate in code reviews • Join discussions with technical leads and clients about requirements and project delivery • Share updates on work • Progress along Loka's career track with support and mentorship • Report to a Backend Lead • Explore new tools and techniques and experiment with ideas • Collaborate with Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and other teams • Take ownership of assigned tasks through completion

🎯 Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of backend development • Fluency in Python or Node.js (TypeScript) • A solid computer science foundation • Understanding of API/Web communication protocols (OpenAPI, gRPC, etc.) • Understand concurrency concepts in APIs/Web • Capable of working container-first • Excellent English; the global team works entirely in English for meetings, customer calls and business communications • CV written in English
