📋 Description

• Lead customer deployments of edge computing infrastructure, cloud integration, and SD-WAN platforms. • Act as the technical point of contact for end-to-end implementation activities, including architecture planning, configuration, testing, and go-live support. • Work closely with project managers, systems engineers, and customer stakeholders to align on design and timelines. • Troubleshoot deployment issues across operating systems, hypervisors, containers, and networks. • Develop automation scripts and reusable tooling to improve speed and consistency of deployments within the larger context of the company strategy. • Document procedures, configurations, and lessons learned; contribute to internal knowledge bases. • Mentor junior engineers and participate in internal enablement and cross-functional collaboration. • Participate in periodic customer workshops to review implementation design as needed to support large-scale or complex rollouts.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting. • Proficiency with Type 1 and Type 2 hypervisors (e.g., KVM, VMware). • Familiarity with containerization technologies; experience with lightweight Kubernetes distributions (e.g., K3s) preferred. • Strong understanding of networking principles including routing, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, NAT, Routing protocols and proxies. • Hands-on experience configuring and managing network interfaces, both physical and virtual. • Prior experience with SD-WAN deployment and management; Versa SD-WAN experience is a strong plus. • Proficiency in using tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, iptables, netstat, and other network diagnostic utilities. • Experience with cloud service providers such as Azure or AWS, including VM provisioning, datastore configuration, and SSO setup. • Comfortable working with REST APIs and using tools like Postman, Swagger, curl, and Python scripts for automation and testing. • Awareness of secure deployment principles; familiarity with TPM, encryption, and measured boot is a plus (can be trained internally). • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Bash scripting. • Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM platforms for Project/Change/Incident management. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document issues, escalate appropriately, and collaborate across teams.
