📋 Description

• Ensure service excellence and maintain robust, scalable technical foundations using Scala, MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka, NSQ, AWS, Python, and Java • Lead the team through complex product and technical roadmaps • Improve delivery processes, systems, and tools and champion technical initiatives • Identify and address technical issues or escalate larger initiatives for prioritization • Mentor engineers through pairing, documentation, workshops, and code reviews • Deploy and maintain production systems and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs • Act as technical owner for the access domain and lead feature delivery • Design and maintain internet-scale access platform solutions • Improve monitoring and alerting, address technical debt and performance bottlenecks • Lead technical design planning, architecture, cross-organizational projects, and peer review • Participate in support duty as first line of defense against product outages and bugs

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years experience developing and supporting software in a production environment • 5+ years experience programming in object-oriented languages such as Scala and/or other JVM languages • 5+ years experience with functional programming paradigms and ecosystems • 3+ years experience leading engineering projects and initiatives, including distributed systems design, development, and implementation • Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication • Preferred: 5+ years experience developing and supporting scalable, distributed backend services • Preferred: 3 years experience working with SQL databases • Preferred: Professional Polish proficiency in verbal and written communication
