📋 Description

• Lead and guide Java developers through design, implementation, code reviews, testing, and defect resolution • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications and external systems • Translate functional and technical requirements into solution designs, development tasks, and delivery estimates • Apply object-oriented design principles, SOLID principles, and appropriate design patterns • Review code for quality, readability, maintainability, performance, and security; promote consistent engineering standards • Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform root-cause analysis across application and integration layers • Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and observability through sound engineering practices • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests and support automated quality checks • Collaborate with QA, frontend, DevOps, and architecture teams on releases, environments, and technical dependencies • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, and delivery reviews • Mentor team members and encourage knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 10–12+ years of software development experience, including 3–4+ years in a technical lead or senior engineering role • Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or later and the Java ecosystem • Practical experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, service integration, and distributed application design • Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, common design patterns, and clean-code practices • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server; able to write and tune SQL • Experience with build and source-control tools such as Maven or Gradle and Git • Experience writing automated tests using tools such as JUnit and Mockito • Familiarity with code quality and static analysis tools such as SonarQube or Checkstyle • Knowledge of application security, logging, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning • Strong communication, technical decision-making, mentoring, and team collaboration skills • Preferred: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Preferred: Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS • Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices • Preferred: Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ • Preferred: Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams
