📋 Description
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform (develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features; and, work with outside data sources and APIs). • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications (conduct code reviews and ensure the quality of the code; identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs; and maintain code quality, organization, and automation). • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies (continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency; and stay updated with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols). • Collaborate with team members (work closely with the design team to create a seamless user experience; assist in project planning, sprint planning, and time estimation; and mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team).
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • 5-7 years of proven experience in Android development. • Extensive experience with Java and Kotlin. • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with front-end frameworks. • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON. • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. • Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
