📋 Description

• Structure and advance the organization’s Data Governance model • Assess the maturity of governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and compliance across data assets • Define policies, standards, roles, and the Data Ownership and Data Stewardship model • Implement and strengthen data catalog, business glossary, classification, and lineage practices using Databricks Unity Catalog • Define data quality rules, monitoring metrics, and remediation processes • Ensure compliance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), privacy policies, data retention requirements, and sensitive data handling practices • Support the adoption of governance and documentation practices within squad deliverables • Work on a strategic, high-impact international project

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in Data Governance • Experience defining and implementing Data Governance frameworks, policies, and processes • Experience managing metadata, data catalogs, business glossaries, and end-to-end data lineage • Knowledge of data quality, rule definition, metrics, and incident management • Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, including access control, data classification, ownership, and auditing • Knowledge of LGPD, privacy, data retention, and sensitive data management • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and technology teams • Fluent English (conversational proficiency) • CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) certification — preferred • DCAM (Data Management Capability Assessment Model) certification — preferred • Databricks certifications focused on Data Governance — preferred • Experience with data platform transformation and modernization programs — preferred • Experience in large enterprise environments and working with Agile methodologies — preferred
