📋 Description
• Serve as a technical leader and architect across Stem’s clean energy software platforms, including PowerTrack® • Drive the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance systems managing large volumes of energy data • Oversee and align current and future data-processing design and architecture • Act as technical liaison between engineering, product, and business stakeholders • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full-stack features across web applications, including user interface, backend services, and database integrations • Ensure security best practices across development and deployment of production systems and services • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose tools to improve development efficiency and quality • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization strategies, and monitoring solutions
🎯 Requirements
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience • 8+ years in full stack development with a track record of delivering complex applications • JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript • React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js • Redis • C#; fluency in other languages is a plus • RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a plus • SQL/NoSQL databases • AWS platform, Kubernetes • Git and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) • Testing frameworks and TDD • Experience in distributed event streaming platforms is preferred • Time-series databases and IoT data processing • Data analytics and machine learning concepts • Real-time data streaming and processing • Responsive design principles and/or mobile application development • Charting libraries and data visualization frameworks • Knowledge of energy industry standards and protocols • Background in building applications for regulated industries • Contributions to open-source projects or active technical community involvement
