📋 Description

• Support the full bookkeeping cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/accounts receivable, journals, and reconciliations • Handle multi-currency bookkeeping and reconciliations across USD, HKD, AED, and other currencies • Recognize, post, categorize, and reconcile e-commerce marketplace transactions from Shopify, TikTok, Amazon, and other online platforms • Post, categorize, and reconcile credit card and overhead expenses between the ledger and monthly statements • Process inventory purchases involving deposits, prepayments, and installment payments • Support reconciliation on payment gateways and financial platforms including Wise, PayPal, major bank portals, Stripe, and Airwallex • Support audit preparation • Drive process improvements • Collaborate remotely with team members across Asia in a fast-paced environment • Handle financial accuracy and reporting across multiple currencies, from transactions through financial statements, with minimal supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required • Professional qualification as a Certified Public Accountant is a plus • 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally from the e-commerce industry • Working knowledge of US GAAP or HK FRS • Understanding of cash versus accrual accounting, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and transaction classification • QuickBooks proficiency is essential • Multi-currency reconciliation experience • Strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, IF formulas, Power Query, and data integrity checks • Familiarity with Google Workplace AI agent tools • Proactive and self-directed • Strong communication skills for cross-border collaboration • Detail-oriented with a zero-tolerance approach to reconciliation errors • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision • Ability to collaborate with team members across Asia • The application form asks whether the candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, an ACCA/CPA/CMTA certification, or at least 3 years of demonstrable full-cycle bookkeeping experience • The application form asks whether the candidate has owned general ledger and reconciliation processes for at least 2 years • The application form asks whether the candidate has independently produced complete financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow • The application form asks whether the candidate has hands-on experience applying US GAAP or HK FRS • The application form asks whether the candidate has hands-on QuickBooks experience, including Chart of Accounts and customized transaction reports
