📋 Description

• Support the full bookkeeping cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/accounts receivable, journals, and reconciliations • Handle multi-currency bookkeeping and reconciliations across USD, HKD, AED, and other currencies • Manage e-commerce marketplace revenue recognition, posting, categorization, and reconciliation for Shopify, TikTok, Amazon, and other online platforms • Process credit card and overhead expense postings, categorization, and monthly reconciliation between ledgers and statements • Process inventory purchases involving deposits, prepayments, and installment payments • Support reconciliation for Wise, PayPal, major bank portals, Stripe, Airwallex, and other payment gateways • Support audit preparation and drive process improvements • Collaborate with team members across Asia in a remote, fast-paced environment • Own financial accuracy and reporting across multiple currencies • Handle the full cycle from transactions through financial statements with minimal supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a must • 5+ years hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally from the e-commerce industry • Working knowledge of US GAAP or HK FRS • Understanding of cash and accrual accounting, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and transaction classification • QuickBooks proficiency (essential) • Multi-currency reconciliation experience • Strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, IF formulas, Power Query, and data integrity checks • Familiarity with Google Workplace AI agent tools • Professional qualification as a Certified Public Accountant is a plus • Proactive and self-directed • Strong communication skills for cross-border collaboration • Exceptional attention to detail and zero-tolerance approach to reconciliation errors • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
